The San Antonio Special Programs Co-op (SASPC) provides high-quality, individualized special education services to school districts across Texas. Our programs are seamlessly integrated into each district’s overall instructional framework—ensuring that special education is not separate, but central, to student success.
We are committed to tailoring services to the unique needs of each student. Our approach is grounded in continuous evaluation, student progress, and the latest educational research to ensure the most effective support possible.
All students served by the Co-op—regardless of identified need or disability—receive a well-rounded education aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). TEKS outlines the academic standards all Texas students must master to become capable, contributing members of society.

Our vision is to empower member schools to foster and maintain a diverse and collaborative atmosphere, where parents, students, schools, and the community work together to facilitate educational success by meeting the specialized academic, emotional, and social needs of all eligible students in a respectful and positive learning environment.
