Public Information Requests (Texas Public Information Act)
Southwest Preparatory School is committed to transparency and complies with the Texas Public Information Act (PIA), Texas Government Code Chapter 552. The PIA gives the public the right to request access to government records.
How to Request Public Information
To request existing public information, please submit a written request by one of the following methods:

Hand Delivery: Southwest Preparatory School District Office 1258 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78209, between hours 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.
Requests must be in writing and should describe the information clearly so that we can locate it. The PIA does not require governmental bodies to create new documents, perform legal research, or answer general questions.

Response Timeline

We will respond promptly, generally within ten (10) business days.

If the information cannot be released within that time, we will notify you of the date it will be available, or if the information must be withheld under an exception, we will seek a ruling from the Office of the Attorney General.

Some information may be confidential by law and cannot be released.
