We understand that selecting the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions a family can make. We are honored that you have chosen—or are considering—Southwest Preparatory School – Northwest Elementary and Early College High School.
We are a tuition-free, college-preparatory, and career-readiness public charter school serving students in grades PreK (age 3) through 12th. At Northwest, we offer a safe, supportive learning environment with small class sizes, individual attention, and an academically enriched curriculum designed to help every student grow and thrive.
The Northwest Royals believe in meeting students where they are and guiding them toward their fullest potential. Through a combination of hands-on and project-based learning, we make education engaging, relevant, and enjoyable.
Our campus is a family-oriented community where every student is known by name. We place a strong emphasis on creating a respectful, inclusive atmosphere, and we take bullying seriously—ensuring all concerns are addressed swiftly and effectively.
We are also proud to offer a unique Early College High School (ECHS) program for students in grades 10–12, located on the campus of Texas A&M University–San Antonio. This opportunity allows students to earn up to 60 hours of college credit at no cost, while experiencing college life firsthand.
