Our PreK Program

All of Southwest Prep’s elementary schools offer a full-day PreK program for four-year-old students. The Northwest and Northeast Elementary campuses also have a three-year Prek program. The program is free for those who qualify, but the tuition rate is less than half of most daycares if you do not qualify.
The PreK Frogstreet curriculum focuses on social-emotional development and managing "big feelings" in new situations. Students receive a solid foundation in academic skills that will prepare them for success in kindergarten and beyond.
Children learn through discovery and exploration during independent play, whole-group activities, and small-group instruction to promote a love of learning. The program is designed to encourage family involvement and for teachers to build relationships with the students that last through elementary school into middle and high school. The PreK teachers are focused on whole-child growth and development.
Our enriched prekindergarten provides a learning environment that inspires curiosity, buildsPrek for 3 and 4 year olds confidence, and fosters a love of learning. Our students learn essential skills for being successful in school, like:

- Sequencing, sorting, and problem-solving skills that will help them with reading and math
