Mission: "I'm Possible"

Welcome everyone!  I am so happy to be teaching your child here at Southwest Preparatory School- Southeast Campus, Home of the Warriors.  I will be teaching the 6th grade through 8th grade Reading and Writing classes.  I will also be the ESL teacher on campus assisting our emergent bilingual students.  

 

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in education from Texas A&M- Corpus Christi.  I have been teaching for over 17 years.  I have two sons, one attending Northwest Vista College and one in high school.  

 

I am so excited to be working with you all to collaborate and create a classroom that is helping all of our students to learn not only about reading and writing, but more importantly, themselves.  I love helping our students to learn skills everyday that can help them to be more successful in any classroom they enter, but especially, to build the skills they will need to be successful in life.  

 

Thank you for working with me alongside your precious children to create lifelong learners, but more importantly students that believe in themselves!  Remember no mission in life is impossible, because "I am possible".
