A comprehensive school counseling program is essential for supporting students' academic, career, and social-emotional development
 

Our school counseling program is committed to fostering student success by removing barriers to learning and promoting academic, social, and emotional growth. Through collaboration with students, families, school staff, and community partners, counselors provide direct and indirect services, including instruction, advisement, counseling, consultation, and referrals.

 

Our program supports students in four key areas:

  • Interpersonal Effectiveness (building strong relationships and communication skills)
  • Intrapersonal Effectiveness (self-awareness, self-management, and personal growth)
  • Personal Health and Safety (emotional well-being, decision-making, and resilience)
  • Post-Secondary Education & Career Readiness (college planning, career exploration, and goal setting)

 

With a focus on academic achievement, social-emotional counseling, and career guidance, our comprehensive school counseling program serves all students while adapting to the unique developmental needs of primary, middle, and high school learners.

Tutor.com Tutor.com for U.S. Military Families, funded by the U.S. Department of Defense and Coast Guard Mutual Assistance, is a program that allows eligible students (grades K-12) and service members in U.S. military families to connect to a live tutor online at any time for one-to-one help with homework, studying, test prep, proofreading and more at no cost.  Students can get personalized help in 40 Math, Science, Social Studies, English and World Language subjects, including Algebra, Statistics, Biology, Essay Writing, Spanish, German and French. Tutors can also help students prepare for the SAT, ACT or other standardized tests. Native Spanish speakers are also able to work with Science, Math and Social Studies tutors in their native language.

MCKINNEY-VENTO HOMELESS PROGRAM
The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, reauthorized in January 2002 as Title X, Part C, of the No Child Left Behind Act, is the primary piece of federal legislation dealing with the education of children and youth in homeless situations. Its key themes are school access and stability, support for educational success, and child-centered decision-making.
