The Texas Education Agency has provided a Parental Rights and Options Information form outlining many of the rights and educational options available to families under the Texas Education Code, including Chapter 26: Parental Rights and Responsibilities.
The form includes information about:

- Grades, attendance, promotion, and graduation
- Health education and health-related services
- Immunizations
- Gifted and talented programs
- Special education and bilingual education programs
- Student information and data collection
- District grievance procedures
