Southwest Preparatory School - Seguin is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Carlos H. Trevino as the new Assistant Principal. Mr. Trevino brings with him a wealth of experience and dedication to education.
Recently relocating to New Braunfels with his wife, Mr. Trevino has chosen to be closer to his daughter in Austin and son in New Braunfels. Embracing the joys of family life, he became a proud grandfather to a little boy last November and is now awaiting his first granddaughter's arrival in May.
Hailing from San Diego, TX, Mr. Trevino earned his Bachelor of Science from Texas A&I University Kingsville (now Texas A&M) in 1994. He later obtained a Master of Science from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Having devoted 29 years to education, Mr. Trevino began his career in San Diego, TX, where he taught PE, Health, and Reading for ten years. His leadership journey includes roles such as Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, Principal, Assistant Athletic Director, and Head Basketball Coach, amassing a wealth of experience and expertise over two decades.
