Our After School Care Program for PreK(3)-8th grade provides a safe, supportive, and structured environment for students after the school day ends. We are committed to fostering a space where all students:

✔ Experience consistent and non-punitive discipline that promotes personal growth.
✔ Receive nurturing care from actively engaged staff members.
Student Expectations
To ensure a positive and enriching experience, students in the After School Care Program are expected to:
- Be responsible for their actions.
- Follow school rules during the program.
- Stay with their assigned group and staff at all times.
- Take care of materials and equipment, returning them before using new ones.
- Arrive promptly at the program each day.
- Follow at least one-step directions to participate in group activities.
Tuition & Payments
Parents are responsible for paying tuition and fees as scheduled. Payments may be made in cash or by check, payable to Southwest Preparatory School.
- Tuition is non-refundable. There are no refunds, credits, or prorated fees for absences, inclement weather, or closures on the last day of each semester.
Please Note: The After School Care Program will be CLOSED on the last day of each semester. Your child must be picked up at regular dismissal time on these days.
Discounts Available
A reduced rate is offered to families who meet one or more of the following criteria:
✔ Families with multiple siblings enrolled in the program.
✔ Military personnel.
✔ Southwest Preparatory School employees.
Late Payment Fees
- Tuition is due on or before the scheduled payment date each month.
- After two missed payments, the student may be removed from the program, and the parent may be referred to a collection agency.
Late Pick-Up Policy
We understand that unexpected delays happen, and we appreciate your communication. However, to maintain program integrity:
- Any student picked up after 6:00 PM more than five times in one month will be withdrawn from the program.
Warning System for Late Pick-Ups within a Month:
- Second Late Pick-Up: 1st warning issued; email sent to parent.
- Third Late Pick-Up: 2nd warning issued; email sent to parent.
- Fourth Late Pick-Up: 3rd warning issued; email sent to parent.
- Fifth Late Pick-Up: Student withdrawn from the After School Care Program without refund.
