 “Guess How Many Pages” Contest

  • Families guess the total number of pages in the Jar.

  • The winner gets a free book of their choice from the Book Fair!

3rd-8th Family Scavenger Hunt- Monday  Dec 1st 4:30-6:00pm

  • Families complete the list together while exploring the fair.

PK-2nd  Family Reading Night Wednesday Dec 3rd 4:30-6:00pm

  • Families to come in pajamas, bring blankets, and read together in cozy reading corners. Snacks will be available.

  • Guest readers — teachers, principals, or parents — read short stories aloud.

Storytime with Activities- Thursday Dec 4th

  • Short reading sessions every hour led by student council or parent volunteers.

  • Crafts that connect to the story.

Book Character Dress-Up Day- Friday Dec 5th

  • Students dress as their favorite book character.

  • Host a mini “parade of characters” through the hallways.

  • Small prizes for most creative, most recognizable, or funniest costume.

After the Fair- Reading creates Success

Family Reading Challenge December 8th-February 28 

  • Send home a reading log or challenge card for families to read with a parent, choose a new author, visit the book fair, recommend a book to a friend.  They will read together over the next few months.

  • Celebrate with a “Reading Celebration” Prizes

    • For every 100 mins of reading, your name will be entered in for a drawing to win

      • Kindle/ Tablet

      • Gift Cards:  Walmart, Target, Book Stores
