Health and Physical Education

At Southwest Preparatory School we provide programs like Health and Physical Education to promote positive wellness skills not only for the student today but for the adult tomorrow. The program/class is and should be structured to increase overall physical competence, health-related fitness, self-responsibility, and simply the enjoyment of physical activities implemented. The foundations provided in school can lead to the student remaining active for a lifetime. Some of the benefits are, but not limited to, learning self-discipline, building strong peer relationships, improved overall physical fitness, stress reduction which can lower blood pressure, and an improvement in self-confidence and self-esteem.
