MS Science and Social Studies Teacher

I'm thrilled to start my 23rd year teaching. I have taught an array grades from 3rd grade to  high school. I'm empowered to go on this journey with my students to foster their creativity, cultivate their curiosity and inspire them in being lifelong learners discovering their interest in learning.

 

I'm a graduate of Alcorn State University with a B.S. and M. Ed with a degree in Agricultural Science and Agricultural Leadership. Among other things I am a member of Sigma Gamma Rho sorority, where we are a non-profit community organization, Alt. Commissioner of The Tree Care Board; City of Live Oak, and a member of St. John Neumann Catholic church.

 

Aside from my love of teaching, in my free time I enjoy trying new restaurants, traveling, gardening, reading and when available capturing interesting sites through photography.
