I hope you have had a splendid summer and are ready to get back to school and learn. I look forward to seeing you! I am confident you will have a fantastic 2023 - 2024 school year.

For those who do not already know me, my name is Mrs. Bocanegra, but you may call me Mrs. B. I will be your Special Education Teacher. I am super excited, and I hope you are too. Together, we can make this a fun year. I have been planning activities that will challenge you to grow academically and socially. In addition, we will begin the year by creating our classroom rules, reviewing important procedures and expectations and evaluating your knowledge. We will also have many opportunities to practice respectful and positive social interactions with our daily virtual meetings. 

My goal is to establish a classroom that is safe and encouraging environment to open communication. So, to keep consistent contact with parents, I will be using E-mail, Phone calls, and Class Dojo for points.  Do not forget to subscribe to this page so that your child can get one (1) Class Dojo Point towards incentives. Please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected] at any time. I do check my email daily and I try to reply within 48 hours. If I do not reply, please call the Front Office and let them know that you have emailed me, and I will make sure to follow-up. I do try my best to quickly respond.  I encourage you to E-mail me to the best of its advantages. I will be using that 100% during this school year.

Remember, the first day of school is Monday, August 14, 2023.
