About Me

Greetings Seguin Parents and Community, 

It is with extreme pleasure to serve you as principal of the SWP Seguin Campus! My name is Dana Fornabaio, and this is my sixth year in educational leadership. Prior to becoming principal, I had many experiences including being a classroom teacher, career teacher leader, academic dean, and assistant principal at the Southwest Preparatory Northeast Campus. No matter what, I am always a teacher at heart, and taught for 5 years in Miami, Florida and San Antonio, Texas. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Florida International University, as well as a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership from American College of Education. I truly believe that learning never stops and this is something I always want to instill in my students and teachers. Education is without a doubt my passion. Every student that comes into my life becomes a part of me and I want to always see them excel and become productive human beings, who have every chance to become whoever they want to be no matter what path they may choose when they grow up. This is why it is my privilege to lead the Seguin campus and the many talented teachers, staff and students here!
