Southwest Preparatory School is proud to announce Cristy Rember as the recipient of the prestigious Teacher of the Year award for 2024. Mrs. Rember, a beloved Art teacher at the Seguin campus, has been recognized for her outstanding dedication and inspiration to students across all grade levels, from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade.
Mrs. Rember's passion for art education has left an indelible mark on the school community. Through innovative projects and creative initiatives, she has empowered her students to explore their artistic talents and express themselves in unique ways. From vibrant wall murals to intricate sculptures and even painted ceiling tiles, Mrs. Rember and her students have transformed the school environment into a living gallery of creativity. Principal Dana Fornabaio expressed her appreciation for Mrs. Rember's contributions, stating, "Mrs. Rember's talent and dedication have enriched our school community in countless ways. In recognition of her outstanding achievements, Mrs. Rember will be honored at the Seguin Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year Banquet on May 6, 2024, at the Seguin Event Complex. This event will bring Teachers of the Year together from across the area to celebrate their dedication and commitment to education.
