Who I Am
My name is Sarah Patch, and I am a Special Education teacher that provides Inclusion Services at the Northwest Elementary, Middle/High, and Early College High School.
My Why
My heart is for students who may need a little extra guidance or support to be successful in class at their ability level. Growing up, I took twice as long as my peers to complete various work and assignments, but learned that grit, perseverance, and having a supportive group of teachers guiding and believing in me during my educational experience that anything is possible. My desire is to support students the way my teachers supported me while in grade school and cheer on their successes while holding students accountable to show growth in their educational experiences.
My Education
Texas State University- Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an Emphasis in Special Education (Graduation 2011)
Texas A&M San Antonio- Masters Degree in Educational Administration (Graduation 2021)
Interesting Facts
- I have traveled to 13 different countries around the world.
- I enjoy sewing, drawing, painting, sculpting, knitting, creative writing, music, comics, and video games.
- I create my own wardrobe by sewing my own clothing for work and home.
- I have hosted international students from 4 different countries.
