Our program is designed to help students learn the discipline and behavior required for success. We promote self-direction, taking responsibility for ones own thoughts & actions, and finding internal motivation to achieve.
Our Mission is simple; “Attend to the behavioral issues preventing students from having all educational options available to them - and help them help themselves.”
Students with behavior issues may need to attend one of our two program components:
- Disciplinary (DAEP): Predetermined length improved performance and behavior
- Young people, sometimes make poor decisions, which can lead to inappropriate choices and actions. Often, these short-term challenges can be corrected with mild consequences.
- When it takes a more long-term process to correct things, it may be best to focus on a more behavior-oriented approach.
- For those students with more long-term challenges, it maybe necessary to focus more intently on the causes.
- AEP:
- Students may voluntarily stay as this environment is more conducive to their needs and as agreed upon by both school and parents.
