| Biographical Information Originally from a small town in East Texas, I spent the majority of my childhood in the Houston area. I graduated from Humble High School in 1998 and in that same year moved to San Antonio to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio. In 2003, I was awarded a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in History with special focus in American History, Geography and Humanities. After commencement from college, I was employed in the field of social work for several years servicing an at-risk population of abused and neglected youth. It was during this time that I chose to return to school to pursue my teacher certification. This is my second year teaching and working in a behavior orientated environment. I am currently the Social Studies and English teacher at New Directions DAEP High School. I have two dogs, enjoys being outdoors, listening to live music, attending sporting events, and shopping. |
